Acorns our ‘Out of school club’provides the pupils of HampsteadNorreys CE Primary School with an exciting and popular after school club four evenings a week registered for up to 30 children. The club is held at the village hall, adjacent to the school and occasionally in the school. Based upon more than ten years’experience, our club is led by a committee and an enthusiastic team of experienced playworkers who collect the children from school. Snacks are prepared by the staff and both structured and free play is undertaken until pick up by 5.30pm.
To be considered for this post you must:
• Hold NVQ 3 and be willing to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service clearance
• Have or be willing to train immediately for a recognised first aid &food hygiene certificate
• Enjoy working with school aged children
• Have some recent experience of working in a childcare setting
• Have some supervisory experience of leading a team
