Do you want to work in a varied and challenging role?

Are you a highly motivated team player with strong organisational skills?

Do you have an interest in engagement and local democracy?

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised individual to join our team who will be responsible for the maintenance of the electoral register and the delivery of key election projects.

We are a small and friendly team and have a number of high profile projects coming up including borough and parish elections in May 2019, electoral boundary reviews and who else knows what's around the corner!

Our elections team is dynamic and innovative and are always looking at new ways of working. We have recently worked hard as a team to revise our canvass process which has resulted in the top digital response rate in the country!

While knowledge and experience of electoral processes and electoral registration would be a distinct advantage, if you have relevant transferable skills, we want to hear from you.

This role has lots of opportunity to learn and we will support you to study towards the AEA Certificate in Electoral Administration if you don't already have it.

This role requires flexibility and the requirement to work some additional hours during election periods.

Democracy is about giving people a voice and we are responsible for making sure that happens. If you are passionate about offering an exceptional service to our residents we want to hear from you!
