2 PAs needed
Exciting opportunity for a local person to help a young man with day to day care needs and activities.
The position is split into 2 parts and several PAs could be considered for these roles.
5 days 7.30am - 9.30am. This is to help the gentleman up from bed into his Zimmer frame. He likes to enjoy a cigarette and a cup of tea and then personal care tasks to include bathing, transferring to the toilet and help with dressing.
You will also need to make a light breakfast and help the gentleman to eat this. If there is time to clean the bedroom, emptying the ashtray, wiping the sides and hoovering. The bed needs to be striped once a week.
5 days Mon to Fri 11am - 2.45pm. Washing, ironing, remaking the bed. Making sure drinks are available and preparing and feeding lunch. Also to include general social activities within the home. Keeping the areas like the bedroom and the kitchen clean.
The gentleman is looking for someone who doesn’t mind that he smokes, is open minded and has a laid back attitude. Being upbeat and enthusiastic is a must in this household. You must be able to cook and be physically able for the purpose of the job role.
