EYFS or KS1 Class Teacher required at
The Willows Primary School from September 2013
This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly improving and friendly school in Newbury, where excellence and enjoyment are at the heart of the school’s ethos. We have strong links with the local community and have increasing support from our parents. Our children are well behaved and eager to learn. We are now at an exciting juncture in our development. Following the removal of special measures in September 2011 we have now been rated as a ‘good’ school by Ofsted and we are preparing our school for the next stage of its journey. We are part of a very innovative collaborative partnership with Hampstead Norreys CE Primary School, with whom we work closely alongside and share our Headteacher.
We wish to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic class teacher to join us to teach one of our EYFS or KS1 classes. Therefore we welcome applications from both ambitious NQTs and experienced teachers with the following qualities:
• Drive, creative flair and the ability to deliver motivating and challenging lessons
• High expectations of achievement, both inside and outside the classroom
• A commitment to the wider life of the school
We can offer you:
• A stimulating and exciting experience, in a convenient location
• Commitment towards your professional development including opportunities to work within our collaboration of schools
• Excellent resources, including ICT and a spacious working environment
This position is permanent (or dependent on passing the induction year if an NQT). For an application pack and for further details of this exciting opportunity please contact the school office. Informal discussion about the position and visits to the school are warmly encouraged.
Closing date: Thursday 23rd May 2013 Interview date: Week starting 3rd June 2013
