The Governors are seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated administrator to join our School Office. The post requires provision of administrative support in school including Footsteps Nursery and After School Club and Activities. Duties will include:
- managing registration and attendance
- invoicing and reconciling invoices with payment
- funding forms
- typing newsletters, letters, reports and other documents
- dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- greeting visitors at reception, answering the phone and passing on messages
- general duties to support the headteacher and teaching staff as appropriate
The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic, well organised person. It is a very busy office and you must be able to prioritise, multitask and work effectively under pressure. Must be computer literate and have data base experience. Ultra efficiency, accuracy and confidentiality are key attributes here.

Pre–employment medical check
You may be asked about your physical ability to perform the job during interview. As a condition of the Offer of Employment, the successful applicant will be asked to complete an Occupational Health questionnaire from which our Occupational Health Advisor will assess your medical suitability to do the job. You may be required to attend a medical examination.
On your application form you will be asked to provide the names and addresses of two people who will provide a reference. At least one should be from your current/most recent employer. If you are not currently working with children/adults at risk but have done so in the past it is important that a reference is obtained from the employer by whom you were most recently employed working with children/adults at risk.
Employment references must be provided by your current or most recent line manager and will not be accepted from relatives or people writing solely in the capacity of friends. However, your referees may include someone you know with standing in the community i.e. a teacher, vicar etc.
