Looking for skilled and experienced Personal Care Assistant to join a small private team to help my lovely 91 year old mum live happily, safely and independently at home with her Dementia.

 

You will be a caring, responsible, honest and trust-worthy person with a professional attitude and high standards. Good communication (in English) skills and willingly working as part of a team are essential.

 

The role will include personal care, food preparation and medication. Socialising skills are also very important. You will have a friendly co-operative approach. References and Safeguarding checks (eg DBS) will be needed to secure the role.

 

You will be primarily be working with one other carer to help support some / all of the morning and lunch calls Monday to Friday. Calls are typically 45mins to 1hr in duration. Exact times and hours for you within this arrangement to be agreed according to your availability and our need. You will be expected to have some flexibility to cover others in the team for holiday or sickness occasionally.

Pay rate is negiotable and will be between £12.50 and £16.00 per hour depending on experience.  The role is based in Little Sandhurst.
