We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with first class communication skills to join the team and to deliver an effective and customer focused support service.You will provide care and support packages to service users in their own homes within Leicestershire.
You will help create and maintain care and support that emphasises the development of each service users potential for ordinary home life. You will aid and assist service users as necessary in all aspects of their lives in which they need assistance, giving proper regards to service users rights, self-respect, cultural needs, emotional and physical care, health, wellbeing and lifestyle needs. This may include some cooking, cleaning, shopping and other duties of a domestic nature. You will also assist the service users with personal care needs as required.
The ability to display a caring and sensitive approach with proper regard for service users’ rights are essential. In addition you will also possess good organisational skills and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
NVQ 2/3 in care qualification or equivalent is desirable and knowledge of the Care Standards Act would be an advantage.
The working hours will include days/evening and weekend working. You will provide morning and evening support as dictated by the rota.
It is essential that the candidate is a car owner and has a full UK driving license with Business Insurance.
