As one of two Team Leaders you will be at the very forefront of this delivery, leading a team of dedicated Principal Planners, Planners and Technicians, securing high quality development and ensuring that planning decisions are made in accordance with Council and national policy.

You will need to have considerable post qualification town planning experience, including experience in a Local Planning Authority, and have excellent team leadership, communication and presentation skills. The post will involve close liaison with Borough Members, Parish/Town Councils, applicants, agents, other sections of the Council, consultees and the shared support and administrative service.

The ideal candidate will be tenacious, thorough, adaptable and able to motivate, lead and manage others. This post is ideal for someone who wants to develop their planning career in a positive and forward thinking Authority.
