Building Control – Shared Service with Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council

We are seeking to recruit an adaptable and pro-active Building Control Administration Assistant to provide support to our busy Building Control team.

You will assist the team with day to day administrative issues, including booking site inspections and answering general enquiries, sorting and distributing incoming post and maintaining project files. You will also be able to take ownership in special projects with the full support and guidance from the team.

You will need to have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), demonstrate an attention to detail and have good IT skills. You will need to work on your own initiative, have a flexible approach, and the ability to manage and prioritise your workload.

In return we will support, guide and help develop you through your first step of the career ladder of an exciting and varied career in Building Control.
