As part of Medway Council and the Clinical Commissioning Group’s Better Care Fund plan, we are seeking to recruit to this exciting opportunity. The Better Care Fund seeks to transform health and social care services in the next few years. This will mean greater integration of commissioning and services as well as a whole system transformational approach.
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager with the ability to drive forward this transformation. Key to this will be the ability to work in partnership with the Council, CCG and key partners in the Voluntary and Community Sector, the Medway Foundation Trust, Medway Community Health, KMPT, GPs as well as independent providers. At the heart of this must be a commitment to ensuring that the voice of service users is at the heart of what we do.
This is unique – Better Care Fund is new and this post offers the opportunity to be jointly appointed by the Council and CCG. If you think you can deliver the necessary changes and make an impact quickly in this challenging environment, you might be the person we need.
Applicants must hold/have the following:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent knowledge and experience).
- Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering and managing projects
- Significant skills and experience in project management (PRINCE2 certified practitioner or equivalent).
- Senior level experience in both health and local authority commissioning roles
