Please note that this post is a fixed term contract due to end in 6 months.

We are looking for a Youth Offending Team Worker to lead in the delivery of targeted interventions to groups or individuals in order to help individuals who are at risk of offending, or re-offending, to develop life skills and greater social integration.

The successful applicant will be required to lead on the delivery of group based offending behaviour prevention programmes, monitor and support young people in the successful completion of all aspects of their support programmes and assess the impact of the targeted interventions on individuals and recommend changes to individual support plans as necessary.

To be responsible for ensuring that information systems and computer records are maintained in accordance with statutory or service requirements.

Applicants must hold/have the following:

  • An accredited group work qualification or be working towards such
  • Demonstrable technical/specialist/policy & procedural knowledge which can be applied across a wide range of activities. Ability to completes a range of complex tasks such as report writing, presentations, detailed assessments and calculations
  • A full driving licence and access to own transport for work purposes
