We are looking for an Assistant Engineer (Asset Management) to manage engineering area of expertise in order to contribute to the efficient and effective provision of engineering services.

To undertake asset management & finance functions, studies, designs and works in relation to the service provided to support engineering policies and procedures

Deliver work programmes, financial reports and project reports, analyse, develop and appraise projects and monitor the performance of systems to ensure services are provided at the highest level.

Coordinate and manage the day to day work of staff within their area of expertise to enable the management and continual improvement of the team.

Applicants must hold/have the following:

  • Able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of local authority highway services, particularly highway maintenance, infrastructure and data management
  • Able to design and modify spreadsheet and database information, especially for data matching and cross-referencing including NSG, GIS, Confirm Asset Management & other systems.
