To be part of a team that daily records data in an accurate manner to ensure timely payments and reimbursements on behalf of the Authority and to ensure correct allocation of income. The focus of this post within the team is prompt invoice input.
Maintain masterfile records of sales ledger and purchase ledger and investigate and resolve purchase ledger credit balances and sales ledger allocations, to ensure systems reflect current and accurate data.
Input purchase ledger and sales ledger data other than invoices, to ensure accurate recording of data and to observe division of duties as indicated in Finance regulations.
Liaise with other departments of the Authority or members of the public to resolve queries.
Applicants must hold/have the following:
- Previous experience of data inputting
- A working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Demonstrable ability to use written and oral communication skills to present varied information in an understandable way to a range of audiences
