This post is being offered as a fixed term contract until 31 December 2017.
Working in the Information Support team, within the Environment, Culture and Communities Department, you’ll be responsible for collecting, sorting, scanning, and indexing documents into our IT systems. With key services such as Development Management reliant on these documents, meeting the team’s daily targets is a must.
As well as having good organisational skills and attention to detail, the ability to communicate well with others will be essential. You’ll also need to be confident with the use of IT and have 5 GCSE passes, an A level or NVQ and relevant clerical /administrative experience.
With good customer service skills, and a flexible, team-player attitude, you’ll also need to be able to cover office hours between 08:30 – 17:00.
