The role of Catering Assistant will be to assist the Catering Supervisor and Catering Team Leader in the efficient and effective day to day operation of the catering facilities.
The primary catering facilities include; providing hot and cold drinks, homemade sandwiches and salads, cakes, muffins scones and confectionary snacks. Hot food includes fast food items and some specials e.g. panini’s and jacket potatoes, with a mix of fresh, healthy and homemade products as well as traditional favourites. In addition, the restaurant provides the catering for children’s parties and other special events.
Linked to the Main Restaurant is a beach bar serving food and drinks from the restaurant. In the reception area there is a small café lite serving hot and cold drinks and “grab and go” type snacks. There are also vending facilities for snacks and drinks.
The role will include; assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks and using the electronic till system. In addition, you will be required to assist with cleaning duties in accordance with Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations.

This post is offered to work 37 hours per week on a permanent contract. The hours will be worked on a shift basis which will include daytime, evenings, weekends, school holidays and bank holidays and the position is located at Coral Reef Waterworld, Bracknell.
