The role of Catering Supervisor will be to assist the Catering Manager in the efficient and effective day to day operation of the catering facilities.
The primary catering facilities include; providing hot and cold drinks, home made sandwiches and salads, cakes, muffins scones and confectionary snacks. Hot food includes fast food items and some specials e.g. Panini’s and jacket potatoes, with a mix of fresh, healthy and home made products as well as traditional favourites. In addition, the restaurant provides the catering for children’s parties and other special events.
Linked to the Main Restaurant is a beach bar serving food and drinks from the restaurant. In the reception area there is a small café lite serving hot and cold drinks and “grab and go” type snacks. There are also vending facilities for snacks and drinks.
As a Catering Supervisor, you will take a lead role in overseeing the cooking and delivery of menus for the restaurant as well as for any parties or hospitality held on site. You will also be responsible for managing staff within the catering team, so proven experience in these areas is essential. You will also assist the Catering Manager in overseeing the catering operations, whilst delivering and managing an excellent catering service, and will be responsible for the catering service in their absence.
In order to be a great fit for this role, you’ll need to have cooking skills as well as supervisory experience. Previous experience providing a good quality food service in a similar Leisure/Catering environment would be an advantage.

This position is available at Coral Reef Waterworld, Bracknell, working 30 hours per week on a shift basis which, will include daytime, evenings, weekends, school holidays and bank holidays.
