We are looking for a financial assessment professional who is able to provide experienced practitioner support and advice, dealing with complex financial assessments related to the provision of care by telephone and face to face.

You will be required to apply specialist policy including CRAG and fairer charging and/or calculations to undertake these calculations, escalating longer term case management or referrals to the relevant specialist team. Ensuring all customer transactions are recorded on the in house system, Frameworki, and the customer informed of outcomes.

You will also be required to complete welfare benefits check to ensure that the customers benefits are maximised.

 Applicants must hold/have the following:

  • A comprehensive knowledge of welfare benefit legislation.
  • Extensive experience of welfare benefits, including carrying out means tested financial assessments And/or a demonstrable understanding of all social care charging policies including charging for Residential Accommodation Guidance (CRAG).
