Bracknell Forest Leaving Care Service requires a Manager who can motivate and inspire a skilled team of personal advisors and a social worker, who provide a range of services, advice and support for young people who are care leavers.
You will be a qualified social worker and have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation, experience of staff supervision, excellent communication skills and an ability to relate to teenagers and young adults. You must be motivated to work closely with the Head of Service to continuously improve and develop the services we offer which are designed to improve the life chances of our Bracknell Forest care leavers. Report writing, chairing meetings, and working closely with other professionals at all levels are all essential requirements of this role.
You will receive regular supervision; have access to excellent training opportunities and the ability to develop your professional skills and interests.
